Burley Local History & Archive Group (BLH&AG) - preserving the past for the future.
  • We collect anything of interest - maps, family papers, books, pamphlets, photographs, newspaper cuttings etc. If you have anything that we could use, please get in touch via the contact page to arrange a meeting. We'll make copies of items, if you don't want to gift them.
  • We carry out original research on the people & places of Burley Woodhead, Greenholme, Hill Top, Esscroft, Scalebor, Stead, Burley in Wharfedale & Burley Moor.
Note: As of late 2025 the Burley Local History & Archive Group are running x2 websites in parallel. The old site is found here Burley Community Library, the new one is the one you're reading. Over the next few months the content of the old one will be migrated to here. Plus lots of new pages.
